Discontinuance of Support for WATERS HPLC Alliance IEEE Systems

As official WATERS representatives for Greece, we would like to inform you about the following matter, important for the smooth operation of your laboratories.

It regards the need of  replacing the older IEEE Alliance HPLC systems (white systems) that you have and use, with new generation WATERS HPLC systems.

Alliance IEEEs have been on the market for over 25 years and have been in production for 10-12 years. The important thing is that the guaranteed availability of any required spare parts, mainly those concerning the communication-transfer of data & commands between the main instrument and the PC-computer (e.g. IEEE-488 connections, busLAC/E™ cards), valid only until December 31, 2022. From January 1, 2023, the above commitment is not possible for obvious reasons (change in technology, inability to provide them by the respective specialized sub-manufacturers of electronic & mechanical parts, etc.). 

The above unavoidable fact, combined with the expected significant price increase from 1/01/2023, due to the well-known problems of international inflation, which can reach 8-10%, make imperative the need for an immediate agreement to replace the old WATERS Alliance IEEE.

We are at your disposal so that, in cooperation with our company's Technical Support, we can promptly launch with you the most advantageous solution for you, even with a replacement policy (Trade-in).

Delivery of the new HPLC systems either directly or in stages/partially within 2023, at current 2022 prices, could be agreed from now.
